Introduction

To allow the Contact Center to access Teams users and groups, an application must be registered in Microsoft Entra. The required steps are described below.

Create Azure Application

To set up Teams integration, the following steps must be performed in Microsoft Azure.
The first step is to create an app registration in Microsoft Azure. Log in to Microsoft Azure as a Global Administrator and perform the following steps:

Create a new application using the New registration button in the App registrations section on the left.

Set 3iMedia Contact Center as name and leave all the remaining settings unchanged and hit Register

Create application secret

To access the application, three elements are required: Tenant ID, Application ID, and a client secret. The client secret is created in the Certificates & secrets section.

The required value is the secret value, not the secret ID.
You should also be aware that the secret expires after the validity period specified during creation and must be renewed.

Setting permissions

Add the following API permissions to this app. When adding permissions, select the Microsoft Graph API and choose Application permissions according to the list below.

After completing these steps switch to the overview tab and note the Tenant ID and Application ID and proceed with plug-in registration in Contact Center.
