Introduction

Depending on the integration type, the plug-ins create different Teams apps that can be distributed to agents or users via the Teams Admin Center. The following sections describe the available apps and their functions in more detail.

The following table lists all apps, including availability, purpose, and assignment. The Assignment field defines which users should be assigned the app in Teams. Some apps should generally not be made available to all users.

AppTypePurposeAssignment
TeamsApp-AdminGenericAdmin CenterOnly administrators, who need to change queue settings
TeamsApp-OperatorBoardStatus / PBXOperator BoardUsers
TeamsApp-SkillMatrixStatus / PBXSkill MatrixOnly Supervisors
TeamsApp-StatusStatusAgent AppAll Swyx-Users
TeamsApp-PBXPBXAgent AppAll Teams-Users

The main difference between the TeamsApp-Status and the TeamsApp-PBX lies in the perspective from which the system is viewed. Especially in mixed environments, it may be necessary to deploy both apps.

The TeamsApp-Status provides the agent view, equivalent to what the agent already sees in SwyxIt!, while the TeamsApp-PBX represents the view from the perspective of the Teams user.

The Contact Center Teams app provides most of the views known from SwyxIt! WebExtensions as a Teams app, including both light and dark themes.

Wie zuvor schon erwähnt, muss der DNS-Servername, welcher im Plug-In konfiguriert wurde, mit einem gültigen Zertifikat geschützt sein, welches ohne Warnmeldungen auch im Browser aufgerufen werden kann.
